The Hotel
del Salto is located close to the falls of Tequendama on the Bogotá River, in
Colombia. Opened in 1924 and closed in 1990, some people say that the hotel is
haunted and nobody wants to remain there, others say that pollution of the
river made it close in the Decade of the 1990s.
This is a
hotel that is abandoned on the outskirts of Bogotá, which used to host the most
representative characters of the capital elite in the 1920s. It functioned as a
terminal railroad, a restaurant and now, after the work of architects and
lovers of history has been reopened as a museum.
The place
is located at Salto Tequendama, a natural waterfall of Colombia with a height
of 157 metres above a rocky chasm, which has become the site that many have
come to end their lives, situation that gives rise to hundreds of stories of
ghosts and souls in pain that often haunt the hotel. Some caretakers of the
building, and paranormal experts say that it is normal to that supernatural
events occur in the refuge of the jump, there are apparitions, heard
heartbreaking cries and the atmosphere in the place is dense for those who
visit it the first time, all a hotel of horror.
It is said that there lives a man with no head and spirits of people who
have claimed their lives.

I think which are myths and legends. In the day is a wonderful place, at night is a place Solo and dangerous.
