BLAIR WITCH

In February 1785, in the old village of Blair (currently Burkittsville), that was in the central North of Maryland, two hours away from Washington DC, an elderly woman called Elly Kedward lured several children from the city to go to his house and brought them blood. When the children told it to her parents and taught them the wounds, citizens reacted with brutal speed. After accusing her of witchcraft, based on local laws, were driven out of the village.

Kedward was tied to a truck and it pushed it to the forests, where abandoned it to death in the midst of a particularly hard winter. Giving by fact that Elly had died of cold, the people of Blair returned to an apparent calm. But this only calm was harbinger of other storms.

In November 1786, the first night that it snowed, the daughter of the magistrate of the city mysteriously disappeared. A week later, the main accuser of Kedward also disappeared. By the end of the winter, almost half of the children of the city disappeared without a trace, including all of the accusers.

Borley rectory

The murder, specifically that of a couple of clergymen, a monastery priest and a nun of the cloister of Bures, located 13 kilometers away, that after a passionate affair tried to flee and make a 180 degree turn to their lives. The end, as usual, had an outcome fatal. They were captured and executed cruelly: him beheaded him and she emparedaron it on the walls of the building. It was after these gloomy sets when they began to happen the apparitions, according to observers, a ghostly figure dressed in religious habits.

The phenomena that occurred were varied: the inexplicable tinkling of bells and chimes, the observation of a luminous figure dressed in nun attire through the garden, the characteristic movement of objects, sounds of steps for the hosts, keys to doors that jumping of locks, stones flying from the roof and even be able to hear harrowing screams and the passage of non-existent carriages in the surroundings of the place.Harry Price, three days after his first visit and overwhelmed by the events, decided to organize a Spiritism session to try to clarify the enigma. The Reverend Smith, his wife, a medium and own investigator participated in the experiment. The result ended sow confusion: the spirit of the priest Henry Bull, former Regent and constructor of the building, reported on the gruesome past of the place.

Sanatorium Beelitz-Heilstâtten

Located in Germany, southwest of Berlin, near Potsdam, in the interior of a dense pine forest was built, there by 1898, this complex Hospital of about sixty buildings and which is distributed over two hundred hectares. The architects of the original project were Heino Schimieden and Julio Boethke and subsequent reforms and additions were made by Fritz Schultz.

The complex had separate for different applications and specialty buildings. Chronic, contagious diseases, rehabilitation, etc. alongside the buildings for the staff and the administration. It even had its own plant for power generation, an Assembly Hall and Chapel.During the first and the second world war, the sanatorium became hospital of war coming to host, between 1914 and 1915, until nursing 17500. One of them was Adolf Hitler, who spent a season there in 1916 to recover from wounds suffered during the battle of the Somme

After the partition of Germany, in 1945, the complex was in charge of the U.S.S.R, and so continued until 1995. During all these years, the complex was the largest Russian military hospital outside their land. When the Russians left, only some of the buildings were rehabilitated and are used in our days. Some as museums, others still for medical purposes and rehabilitation. But most of the complex remains in total abandonment, without any provision for use at the moment. In this impressive place movies were filmed as: pianist, Polanski, the House of Wolfgang Becker patients or the last of Tom Cruise, Valkyria.

The Bermuda triangle

Also known as the Devil's triangle and Limbo of the lost, it is a place where there have been numerous seemingly inexplicable disappearances of boats and planes. Likewise, there have been numerous reports of UFOs and there are even those who believe that the place can be a dimensional gate...

Several explanations have been suggested to account for the mystery, from alien abductions to artifacts of defunct Atlantis until others with scientific basis as the theory of the bubbles of methane.

However, while almost all cases may be scientifically explainable at the present time, there are some stories that could be labeled as indecipherable mysteries that keep alive the legend of the also called "Devil's triangle"

"fanciful explanations"

A jump in space-time
There are those who say that in the triangle could be a worm hole, a singularity in the space-time fabric by virtue of which ships and planes missing could have been transported to another universe.

"UFOS and aliens"
It has been suggested that the triangle could be working as a station of aliens in which people, boats and planes missing would be kidnapped in order to be studied or perhaps (at least in some cases) in order to be saved from a Holocaust.

"Sea monsters"
One of the more fanciful theories is the one according to which sea monsters (type the Kraken...) would be responsible for both wreck...

Aokigahara forest

According to the legend, here live some demons of Japanese mythology. It is a popular place where people commits suicide. In 2002, 78 bodies were found although there are numerous signs in Japanese and English, persuading people to reconsider its decision.

After crossing the first kilometer of Aokigahara towards Mount Fuji, the forest is located in a much more pure State, with little or no waste and insufficient evidence of human presence.

From 1950 to today, more than 7,000 suicides were recorded, the cause of this may be the rock of the forest that makes GPS and compasses to become inoperable, then people are lost and end up committing suicide.

We can say that you never will know that is what happens in the forest, it is said that it is as a Bermuda triangle. When you enter never gonna.

It is a rather strong image.

THE "FALLS OF TEQUENDAMA"

The Hotel del Salto is located close to the falls of Tequendama on the Bogotá River, in Colombia. Opened in 1924 and closed in 1990, some people say that the hotel is haunted and nobody wants to remain there, others say that pollution of the river made it close in the Decade of the 1990s.
This is a hotel that is abandoned on the outskirts of Bogotá, which used to host the most representative characters of the capital elite in the 1920s. It functioned as a terminal railroad, a restaurant and now, after the work of architects and lovers of history has been reopened as a museum.

The place is located at Salto Tequendama, a natural waterfall of Colombia with a height of 157 metres above a rocky chasm, which has become the site that many have come to end their lives, situation that gives rise to hundreds of stories of ghosts and souls in pain that often haunt the hotel. Some caretakers of the building, and paranormal experts say that it is normal to that supernatural events occur in the refuge of the jump, there are apparitions, heard heartbreaking cries and the atmosphere in the place is dense for those who visit it the first time, all a hotel of horror.  It is said that there lives a man with no head and spirits of people who have claimed their lives.

THE HOSPITAL "SAN JUAN DE DIOS"

In 1723 I initiate the emblematic construction that nowadays this left. In his interior there live former workers of the hospital and his families that remained for need, these persons coexist every day in a place that for many can be considered to be like chilling by his left architecture and his multiple histories on appearances and supernatural phenomena. The ghost of a nun who was delivering medicine to the patients, while the nurses strangly were remaining in a deep dream, it is the history mas remembered by the persons who were working there, and those who were attended. The morgue is where one feels mas activity, it owes to the persons' great quantity for violent death that they brought there. ( There I believe a hotel for corpses)
